It’s not every day that I get really excited about a show coming to town, but I am definitely jazzed about this one. husband&wife is a hard-working band from Bloomington, IN and they have traipsed through these parts enough in the past few years to pick up a solid following. They just recently put out a killer album called Dark Dark Woods and are out touring in support of it. I would endlessly recommend them to anyone who is a fan of bands like Pedro The Lion and Death Cab, but also fans of Low or even The Eels. Their first show in Louisville is on May 8th (you know, the weekend after that one event) and they will be playing at the The 930 Art Center for the opening of the Holy Lands art exhibit with Louisville’s Sugar Spell It Out supporting. It looks like they are coming back through here on the 25th, but no details are listed yet for the show. I will let you know when I know.
