This American Life – Live comes to Louisville

This American Life – Live comes to Louisville. Public Radio International show, This American Life, has created a special live show that will be shown for one night only to a limited number of movie theaters around the country. We are fortunate enough to have it come to two Louisville area movie theaters.

Ira Glass hosts a live version of the popular radio show with guests such as Dan Savage, Starlee Kine, and Mike Birbiglia. There are also a few short films and animated shorts in the show, as well as a special appearance by Buffy The Vampire Slayer creator Joss Whedon. I hear his part is quite a good surprise, but I was not given any spoilers.

Stonybrook Cinema De Lux 20 and Tinseltown will be having the special showing this Thursday at 8:00. Advance tickets are available for $20. Might I add, this should be well worth the price of admission. The only dilemma I have is which theater I will go to.

Tickets (Stonybrook)

Tickets (Tinseltown)
