Lebowski Fest v. Forecastle?

Rama Lama Fa Fa Fa has broke some pretty big and interesting news.  Apparently the Lebowski Fest has big plans to go new and improved this year with a 16 city tour, but no…that’s not the big news.  The big news is that the date is scheduled to conflict with Louisville’s Arts-Music-Activism festival Forecastle.  Last year was my first opportunity to attend either festival (although actually I sat outside the Lebowski gates and listened to They Might Be Giants a few years ago).  I think it is safe to say that the festivals have very different draws, but the crossover is pretty significant and asking people to choose seems a little needless.

I love both festivals, and I can’t help but hope Steady B received some bad information.  Unfortunately, the Lebowski Fest website is down so I can’t confirm it for now.  There’ll be plenty more news to come and we’ll update as we find out more…

  1. The site’s not down, your link is just broken

  2. They must have been doing maintenance today, because wasn’t found earlier when I posted it, but now it seems it’s back up, but the previous default page is no longer active…

  3. They did a major site upgrade.
