Forgive the shameless plug, but on Feb. 21 I’m going to be holding auditions for the world premiere of a new play that I wrote entitled Miranda Branson Branson Miranda at the First Lutheran Church on Broadway. The audition times are from noon to 5 pm.
Here’s a quick synposis:
The Magician made his wife disappear. Or so he says. It’s up to Miranda to find out the truth about her mother. Miranda Branson Branson Miranda is a funny, surreal take on growing up, moving out, and starting over (again). There’s the Christian coalition, DIY boyfriends, and more than just a little magic.
The production is presented by The Necessary Theatre. We’ve got most of the parts cast, but we’re looking for two women aged 18 to 40. If you know of anyone, please pass this along. No experience is necessary. So, if you’re interested, come try out. If you just want to see who I am, come tryout. And, if you’d like to help out on the production at all, please drop me a line in the comments.
This event is on Facebook. Here.
