Flight of the Conchords in Bloomington – 4/25

You know their HBO show and love their music.  Now you can see them live in Bloomington, Indiana at the IU Auditorium on April 25, 2009.  I am extremely tempted to get tix to this show.  I have never seen them live, and this may be Louisville’s closest shot in the distant future (if you go that reference, you should get tickets).

Tickets are $38.50 and go on sale Feb. 7 (or you can type in the password “sugalumps” and get your ticket now).  I still haven’t decided if it is worth the 50 bucks (once you included convenience charge and handling).  Still it is tempting.

Indiana Memorial Union Board and Jam Productions are presenting the comedic musical duo Flight of the Conchords at the Auditorium on Saturday, April 25, at 8 p.m. The two New Zealanders, Jemaine Clement and Bret McKenzie, became famous for their unique combination of wit and acoustic folk music, and now have their own HBO series, Flight of the Conchords.

Tickets for the show go on sale for IU Bloomington students at the IU Auditorium Box Office ONLY on Friday, February 6 at 10 a.m. The box office will be implementing a lottery system for the line, so there is no need to be at the Auditorium until 9:00 a.m., but do note that the lottery ticket will be drawn at approximately 9:40 a.m., so if you come after that time, you will be placed at the end of the line.

Tickets for the general public go on sale Saturday, February 7, at 10 a.m. and will be available by visiting, calling Ticketmaster at (800) 745-3000, or by visiting a Ticketmaster outlet.

  1. $50?!?!

These guys are funny, but not $50 + 3 hour drive funny.

  2. Where do you see $50.00? I’m reading that tickets are $38.50
