Mahjongg Playing Al’s Bar in Lex on February 12

I saw Mahjongg, out of Chicago, at the FreeKy Fest down in Lexington last summer and they were amazing.  They will be returning to Lexington, playing Al’s Bar on February 12th.  They have a sound all of their own, blending rock and dance music with layered electronic beats and a personal touch of out-of-the-ordinary.  Their  album, Kontpab ,was released last year on K Records. They played an after party in a house I barely remeber, but I do recall Mahjongg being a ton of fun and this show should be no different.  You Ain’t No Picasso is co-promoting the show with Lexington Action Arts.  Lexington’s Bedtime is opening.
