MMJ cancels European Tour

For anyone who thought that Jim James’ fall in Iowa last week wasn’t that serious, think again. Pitchfork has reported that MMJ has had to cancel their European tour. As most of you know, Jim was supposed to have played solo in Louisville last night, but his fall caused him to postpone or cancel all date leading up to the European tour. Since the Louisville show was to support the candidacy of Barack Obama, rescheduling until after the election wouldn’t make a whole lot of sense, so this one was canceled.

For those still itching to see Jim and crew, it looks like thte next date is the postponed Chicago shows which have been rescheduled for December 27th and 28th. Let’s just hope he’s all better for the biggest show of the year, when MMJ takes on MSG for New Years…
