Everthus the Deadbeats, IAmIs @ 6th & Oak – 10/25

Indianapolis glam protégés, Everthus the Deadbeats will be bringing their “Theatre of the Absurd” to the Space at 6th & Oak. The show is part of a 10-date, Halloween-themed trek through the Midwest on a mission from their guiding spirits.  Each tour date will be presented as a spiritual initiation with thematic costumes and stage decorations that will ultimately reveal the band and fan’s collective potential together. That’s right, Everthus the Deadbeats will be using the stage to tune into the spirit world.  No promises, but in the past, the psychedelic-cabaret themed “Theatre of the Absurd” has featured  professional magicians, sword swallowing, jugglers, tarot readings, etc.

We caught Everthus at the festival for their namesake film, Lebowski Fest, and they put on an incredible show.  A little snippet from that review…

ETD played an animated set with the drummer jumping any and everywhere in his stars & stripes shorts.  ETD sound like they could have been an old vaudeville troupe of gypsies, but they look a little too clean cut and pretty for it.  Mixing deep vocals and a wonderful blend of synth, bass, drums & guitar, the fivesome put on, in my opinion, the best show of the festival…

Joining them for the night will be Louisville’s own psychedelic folk rock outfit, IAmIs. As always, 6th & Oak is BYOB.  Costumes are highly encouraged! Admission is $5 & doors get unlocked at 9pm.
