Murder By Death in Cincinnati (3/19) & Bloomington (3/27)

Murder By Death have announced their tour in support of their forth-coming album, Red of Tooth and Claw, out March 4, 2008 (but leaked on Valentine’s Day apparently). Murder By Death played in Louisville not terribly long ago, opening for Lucero, to which some of the crowd was put a bit off by…but from what I’ve heard I really like them. Their range of music is incredibly diverse, going from ambient rock to alt-rock to punk rock in a matter of minutes. They’re skipping over Louisville, but playing Bogart’s in Cincy on the 19th & Indianapolis on the 27th of March. I’ve not decided if its worth the drive, but its at least worth the consideration.

  1. Damn. I’ve seen them twice, at that Headliners show in ’06 and when they played the Dame in Lexingon last March, and would absolutely see ’em again. Great energy at their shows.

Too bad those nearby shows are on weekdays. And that Cincy show is the night before Man Man plays in Louisville. Damn. Between the two of those I’m not sure how I’m gonna find enough energy to go to get myself to classes.
