Radiohead – Coming to Indianapolis 8/3! (CONFIRMED DATES UPDATED)

A little known band named Radiohead, who recently sold 122,000 copies of In Rainbows in its first week release in CD format (after having been available free online for sometime now), is coming to Indianapolis as part of the US Tour. The tour details state only that the US Tour will be split in two parts over a European interlude (Part I sometime before June 6 and Part II sometime after July 8). For fans, there are several venues drivable from Louisville, KY, including Indianapolis (114 miles), St. Louis (260 miles) and Chicago (298 miles). The truly die hard fans have Atlanta (421 miles) and DC (608 miles) too. The tour is, of course, to promote the In Rainbows album (although in the wake of the post-In Rainbows music industry, maybe it’s the album that is promoting the live shows) which you can grab at Ear X-tacy if you haven’t already. Specific dates haven’t yet been announced, but as soon as they are….we’ll let you know.

  1. That Chicago date is expected to be a Lollapalooza Headline gig, which means Holyfreakingcowalicious!!! Indy too! I live in Indy, but can’t imagine they’d play Verizon, but who knows maybe. I live literally jogging distance to Verizon (Deer Creek) and would pay TOP DOLLAR for seats to that. It probably is Deer Creek over White River State Park or even The Murat, but either of the 2 other venues would be ideal.
