Jason Isbell, formerly of The Drive-By Truckers, will be releasing his second solo album (his first with The 400 Unit).  The album is simply titled, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit. The album releases February 17th.  You can listen to a track from the album, “Seven Mile Island” on the band’s MySpace page.

In support of the release, Isbell and the 400 Unit are touring and will return to Louisville for another show at Headliner’s on March 13.  You can read our review of their show last February here.  They finish the tour at SXSW.  Deer Tick will open.  I’ll update ticket prices when I find out.
