Forecastle got underway Friday evening with the hip hop heads and made it’s way to co-headliners Del the Funky Homosapien & GZA/Genius.  By the time Del came on, people were coming out of nowhere to absolutely jam-pack the Belevedere, and while dancing was a little constricted, that didn’t keep people from moving.  Although Meth couldn’t make it, I think the vast majority of the crowd saw the combo as an upgrade.  Personally, I thought Del was the highlight of the evening, but with GZA bringing some of his Wu-Tang rhymes with him & a sick freestyle, the combination made my eyes bleed….
