If you want tickets to the Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy show on July 26th in J-Town, then you better run to Leatherhead, 1601 Bardstown Road, right now because there are only 28 tickets left as of 1pm (they are $10 bucks each). There were only 300 tickets to begin with and it has sold out online and at Wild and Woolly Video. I just grabbed mine and was reading the back trying to figure out where “Funtown” is located. Turns out you have to email somebody after you buy your ticket just to find out where the venue is. I think that is fantastic. Click on the flyer below for more info, or go to Drag City Records for details. The doors open at 5:30 and the show starts proptly at 7pm. This means you can still catch some of the Snowden show at Forecastle before heading to the Funhouse, wherever that may be. No Beer, Alcohol or Drugs.
Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy had a beatiful track on this years Louisville is for Lovers album and just released Lie Down in the Light, a highly acclaimed album and one of my favorites of the year.

While you are in Leatherhead, be sure to check out their guitar straps. On top of being made with top of the line leather and master craftmanship, their ergonomic design is patented (and worn by Will Oldham, MMJ and other locals).

Thanks for the tip guys!
Got them!

Funtown is a nice piece of property out off of Billtown Road. The property belongs to Mr. Funtown (Brad from Thomas A. Minor) and his family. It consists of a big lake, a one-room cabin, some paddle boats and a big ol’ field. I recommend showing up early and bringing your swimtrunks for a dip in the lake (that’s what I’ll be doin…)
hope that helps.

There will be no swimmimg due to some unfortunate circumstances and due to limited parking we can not allow anyone in who does not have a ticket. So if you arrive in a car with someone who does not have a ticket the whole car will be refused entry and will not get a refund Thems the rules folks you gotta follow them or an unnecessarycircumstance might arise
