There couldn’t be a better way to celebrate the Derby festivities than having VHS or Beta DeeJays spin one night, and Wax Fang play the next. Throw two other incredible bands, one of which is a stage show, and you’re Derby experience couldn’t get much better. Wax Fang is playing Headliners TONIGHT with Mucca Pazza & Parlour. If you haven’t made it out to see them yet, it’s time to do so, In a recent “Take 5“, The Fervor stated “On their worst night, Wax Fang will still blow your mind.” As for Mucca Pazza, Matt over at YANP said “Mucca Pazza sound like a New Orleans marching band exploded on stage and were reconstructed into gypsy cheerleaders. It’s a wild time, and I’m still not completely sure what it was that I saw that day. It was fun, whatever it was.” The show is at Headliners TONIGHT at 10 (18 & over). Tickets are $12 & well worth it.
My suggestions for tonight then…start off at Mucca Pazza, Wax Fang, Parlour, once that is over head over to Fuzion for MisShapes until around 4, grab something to eat, then join us in line for Derby around 5am. This weekend is going to be a great one….
