Insomnicathaon 2008 @ Rudyard Kipling - 4/11-12

The title pretty much sums up the game plan. 28 hours of non-stop music and poetry, from a long list of very talented artists (see below). The Rudyard Kipling will host the event on April 11th and 12th, so you have one month to start preparing mentally.  Tickets are $21 and you can pick them up at Ear x-tacy.

4pm Vampire Squid: Details are scarce on this mysterious group, but legend has it that in ancient times, when The Vampire Squid ruled supreme over his cephalopod brethren, there rose a brilliantly jeweled and many splendored palace in the center of the Tethys Sea. Descended from an ancient and powerful race of spacefaring entities, the cephalopods were the masters of a puny two-legged race:humans. After Eons of bloody war, the humans managed to pull The Vampire Squid from power, and banished them and their cohorts to the depths. This band professes a desire to bring back the Cephalopods’ ruling glory through otherworldy melodies, and mesmerizing rhythms. Join them if you wish to be on the side of might.
