Azns & Bnzs are doing another Clay Buffet on March 7th at 215 S. Clay St. along with a plurality of visual artists & who knows what else. As the weather gets better, they’re going to try to start hosting them on a monthly basis, but this is the first & the first is always the best as everyone has their pent up cabin-fevor induced energy. I was at the last of the Clay Buffet parties & it was pretty sick. They’re accepting offers to show you’re work, so if you’re an artist of any sort, get in touch with them through their myspace page. Throw your prices on it & hopefully you can get it sold. At the least, you’re opening it up to a group of really cool kids who might be able to help you out in the future. Also, as from our perspective, the more artists, the merrier.
The only bad thing is that they’ve chosen a night that conflicts with Bon Iver & Black Mountain which is going to be a great show. If you’re not going to be at the show though…this is going to be a great party. They can’t really move it back the next night though, because The Photographic plays the next night. There’s simply too many great things going on in March. I imagine this one will be going on later than Headliners anyway. Nevertheless, if you miss this one, there should be another one going on in April.
