There has been talk that the husband/wife duo named after a rough part of Ohio, Over the Rhine, are coming back to Louisville (they played the 930 earlier this year), to play at KCA on Feb. 29th. Their 2007 album, The Trumpet Child, has received much acclaim, appearing on numerous best album lists. The show would fit into the line-up pretty good in terms of where they’ll be performing. A touch of Jazz, a touch of Folk, and sometimes a little more Christianity than you’d care to hear, but the couple have found a place in the indie-folk scene. In fact, the duo was recently listed #74 on Paste Magazine’s 100 best living songwriters.
