I went to arnetthollow.com to check on updates for this local band and this was the message I saw (originally posted by Cosmic Glenn on 12/11/07):
“Cosmic has left the band. Due to the increasing difficulty with getting the band to be serious. If your going to leave me out of the decision making then I’m out of here. I told all of you that if you wouldn’t practice someone else would. Guess what, some one else has. I had an investor ready to put down all the cash needed to propel Arnett hollow in to the next level but, you refused to play the gig. The man was not happy about you not wanting to play for him. He was a big fan of Arnett Hollow until then. When he heard the subs I used for the gig he was impressed and thus a new band was born. Good luck to you guys in Arnett Hollow. I wish you the best.”
Cosmic Glenn is listed as the banjo player on the .com site, so I guess this would be him in the pic below:

Arnett Hollow now has an Official web page at ArnettHollow.net. Their MySpace page makes no mention of the split and no banjo player is even mentioned in the band members section. I don’t know much about this band, but I do know that they had a new album come out in April 2007 (After the Rain). They also played at the Homegrown Music Series on 4th Street with Cabin and Paper Airplane on November 23, 2007 (with Glenn?). The band’s next scheduled gig is on Christmas day at the Dark Star Tavern (on Frankfort Ave.). I will still be in Georgia, so I can’t go to the show, but if you do, please post as to their banjo status. Regardless, it is ironic that their last album was titled “After the Rain.”
Here are a few samples (pre-Nov 22) from 37 Flood:
