Museum Plaza Imminent 2010

Tonight the Louisville Metro Council approved the issuance of a $130 million dollar bond to help build The Museum Plaza. This is a huge step in what will be a major change to our city’s skyline (see above). The tower(s) will stand 62 stories high. Our next highest building is the Aegon building (35 stories) built 14 years ago. Next step…decide to give another $45 million dollar bond. That said, the entire project is pushing $500 million dollars, so private dollars are still dominating. I still haven’t decided if I like the tower. What I hear is that there will be no middle ground; you will either love it or hate it. Check out the video below and you decide. Wonder if it will have a stage?
